MCLER acts as an insurance broker (insurance intermediary). Depending on the processing, it may also act as a processor for insurance undertakings; in that case, you will be informed at the time of collection.

We may collect the following categories of data:

Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, role, company name, postal address.

Data relating to your activity and insurance needs: sector, fleet, risks to insure, information needed to assess and place cover (limited to what is necessary).

Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, technical data related to site operation.

Data from our exchanges: email content, meeting requests, complaints.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data via the public website, unless you spontaneously provide it in a request.

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

Responding to your requests (quotes, meetings, contact) — legal basis: pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest.

Providing our insurance intermediation services (needs analysis, comparison, presenting contracts, administration) — legal basis: contract and legal obligations under the French Insurance Code.

Authorized internal McLer teams;

Insurance undertakings and partners needed to assess, place or administer contracts;

Technical providers (hosting, scheduling tools, messaging) acting as processors;

MCLER does not sell your personal data.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, États-Unis). Transfers of data to the United States may therefore occur.

In that case, we rely on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and/or the applicable data-protection framework), supplemented where needed by technical and organizational measures.

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes pursued, then archive or delete it in line with legal time limits:

Contact / quote requests with no follow-up: up to 3 years after the last exchange;

Client files and intermediation records: for the contractual relationship, then for applicable limitation and professional retention periods (often up to 5 years or more depending on the documents);

Browsing data / technical logs: limited period, generally a few months, unless needed for security.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French data-protection law, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
